Writing Now & Forever was a deeply personal experience. I wanted to explore how relationships evolve over time and how the bonds we form in a community can become lifelong anchors. Seeing these characters grow, stumble, and triumph reminded me why I fell in love with Rhinestone in the first place. Writing about the death of such an impactful character is never easy, but I wanted to honor personal friends and family members who survived and fought valiantly, as well as those who have passed, from colorectal cancer.
